Bent Coilover?

So yesterday at lunch I was headed back to work when some lady coming out of wendys pull out in front of me hitting my front right quarter panel forcing me up onto the median. I manage to get both left tires up on the curb. Front left rim has about 12" of curb rash while the left rear has 0. My question is how can you tell if a coilover is bent. Ive got a little bit of front camber so its hard to tell. I am claiming this under her insurance but wondering if the shop I go to will know.

The easiest way would be to compare it to the undamaged one, but I'm no expert. Might be a bit of a hassle, but better safe than sorry.
