no they have different chassis. an evo 9 suspension would fit an 8 vice versa but not a x

WAT!

2 totaly different chassis, so yes it could fit but the amount of work you would need to do to make it fit would be ridiculous, not to mention it would be worse than the stock evo 8 suspension because it is designed specifically for it's purpose.

There are plenty of coil over suspension setups out there, there is no need to do that.
