Open end extended lug nuts

Open end extended lug nuts

So my plan is to run Project Kics R40 open end extended lugs nuts! My question is...do you need extended wheel studs to run extended lug nuts?? Ive searched and haven't the answer! thanks for the help

No. They are open ended to allow you the option of running longer studs and the lugs themselves are extended to allow easier tightening when used on deeper seats. They will work fine.

All the open ended nuts I've seen have the threaded portion at the very bottom of the nut, so they grab right away.

Yeah they'll be fine, they just give you the ability to run longer studs if you want them.
