FD wheels on the street

I know the FD wheels are big for drag which is what I like to do. I was wondering if there are any big negatives about possibly using these wheels for daily driving. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Don't see any issues as long as you have the correct spacer to clear the brakes. I'm sure what ever set you find has already seen it's fair share of street miles before you picked them up.

What are your concerns?

Thanks, not sure of concern really, I guess just the fact that they are 16 inch and at one point had to be reinforced so the design changed. Im thinking that I should get the later version if I am looking to daily drive on them.

Anybody use these as DD?

why??? your stock OEM are a lot better, the only reason most ppl use them is because they are small enough to fit the slicks on and because they actually fit our cars.

Well thats what im trying to find out. Why are the OEM a lot better than a set of FD? I know that the FD are lighter so that makes them better so far. Im running X MR wheels at the moment on my 8 RS

fd reenforced are 15.5lbs

what tire do you plan to use on a 16 inch rim on the street?

More sidewall flex...bad for cornering, good for straight line acceleration. The car will feel less sharp and responsive on the street for daily-driving.
