EVO with Blizzak snow tires WOW !!!!!
Guys....i installed blizzak directional snow tires and sold my advans since i just got my car but am installing 18X8.5 inch 57s volks in spring and wanted a winter combo since i live in good old Ohio. Anyway....WOW this car is rediculous with these. I am not kidding....snow tires are so purpose made its amazing. They turn the car into a monster in the bad weather. And driving it sideways is so ez to control . Anyway Its on like donkey kong!!!! plus a added bonus it looks crazy with 235 45 17 beefy snow tires on there....thinking of installing some $10 universal mudflaps from autozone for more winter battle then taking them off in spring.

I have blizzak's on my evo as well and WOW is a good word for it. My EVO on snow and ice out performs my dad's z71 tahoe and any of the jeeps my brother has owned by far. This is the best car I have ever driven in winter conditions.

I'm using Continental WinterContacts on my stock wheels and stock size, they are high performance snow tires. We're in the middle of our second "blizzard" here in upstate NY and they are awesome. Dry weather handling is a lot better than I thought they would be as well.

I have the Blizzak LM-22s and they rock. Every time it has snowed, the damn plow has plowed me in from the back, but I have had no problems pushing through the blockade.
Definately worth the investment.

Just to add, Dunlop Wintersport M3s are awesome as well. Michelin Pilot Alpins are great in the snow, but dry handling isn't as good as the LM-22 or Wintersport M3.
