How miles before replacing your first set of brake pads?

Like the title says....How many miles have you guys gone before replacing your brake pads?

I know it will also depend on driving styles, but i just want to get a general idea how long a set of brembo brake pads last.

List your mileage and your driving style too.

As you mentioned, it is dependent on driving style. We changed after the first 3500 mi.

3 track events, canyon runs, 1 drag strip night.

8500 miles and brakes are still pretty meaty.

Hmmmm??????

After our first track event, we removed the stock pads just before our second track event. They are not resistant to heat and we had serious fading issues with the fluid (Castrol SRF) boiling. We had more than 60% pad left still, but I would not go to the track with them.

We switched to Porterfields.

2,200 miles. With R-compounds you will get just one track day per set of stock pads. Trying the Ferodo DS-2500s. I have tried the EBC green stuff (ok pad) and the Porterfield R-4 which was good but Porterfield does not know how to treat their customers and I will never buy from them again. Not to mention their rear pad for the EVO doesn't fit properly.
