Federal 595 RS-R Trying These Tires Out
#16
best way to get any Federal tires is to order them and expect the fact that the wait may be (1) month out... Tires Direct Warehouse (TDW) is the US distributor for Federal, which then out sources the tire to other tire shop vendors, such as City Tire when they process customers purchases...
What that translates to is that Federal Tires does not over stock the 595RS-r... When their is a slight overstock it is only a few pieces in a not so Evo friendly size...
We can help make the 595RS-R readily available, by showing a greater interest in the tire by willing to purchase them and wait...

Also be on the look out for a new R-compound tire from Federal, the FZ-201...

The problem here is Federal not making themselves available to the US market. Not, the US market not wanting their tire.

I was thinking of running the 595rsr's this year again but I heard they changed the compound to something harder, so I will most likely be going back to RS3's or AD08's for this year

Hate to burst your bubble but those are Federal 595SS. A tire that has nothing to do with 595 RS-R.
The RS-R pattern looks like this:
So your deal might not have been that good after all :/

looks like some decent sizes. I'd love to try them out.
They also have this FZ-202. only in one size, but it happens to be the stock evo size.

The fact that there is very little information on their site makes me wonder a bit.
