STANCE has been around for a few years, and although not very popular on the Evo platform, they sure have made a name for themselves elsewhere. TougeFactory's time attack car is running off-the-shelf STANCE coilovers. A few of my friends also run STANCE on their track Evos, and have had great results. For most people who worry about being able to send they setups out to be rebuilt/revalved, STANCE is one company that can do that for you, as they are in Ohio. Parts are also not expensive compared to Ohlins and KW. Some things to consider in your purchase.

I'm in the same boat as the OP(live in NYC, DD my evo) and I'm also looking for any reviews of coilovers. Currently considering AMR Engineering as I've heard they're very tough/well put together. I blew a strut last week and if I replace my suspension I'd like to have one of the stronger options out there, I don't road race/auto-x the car very much so handling comes second to durability. Apologies for the hijack, good luck to the OP

Basics are good for a car that is not going to be a performance oriented beast. I got them for my wifes IS300.

Don't put them on the Evo. Esp. if you have Bilsteins.

Ohlin DFVs. Don't waste your time, money, or effort with cheaper shocks. Take it from me... I did.

GTWORX <-- all your suspension needs. Hit up Myles or Andrew.
