CE28N 18x9.5 +28 tire fitment question

getting new tires on CE28N 18x9.5 +28... rear fenders moderately rolled, lowered on KW coilovers...

245/40/zr18 on now, with no problems... upgrading to dunlop direzza z1 star spec 255/35/18 but was wondering if i could do 265/35/18? will i have fitment issues??

appreciate your help.

You should be fine, probably more aggressive alignment specs. My friend is on 18x9.5 +27 NT03s in the rear with a 265.

At that width and offset it will depend on camber. Im guessing if you have 1-1.5* then youll be fine.

You're probably going to need to roll the fenders more and like the guy above me said, it will depend on camber settings. I run 1.6 degrees in the rear with a 265/35 rs3 on a 18X9.5 +27.

You'll be fine as long as the tires aren't taller than stock.

I've got the same rims - and you can fit 275 Hoosiers if you have the rear fenders rolled even. Front are tight are lock-to-lock turns.

is there any benefit to 265/35/18 vs 255/35/18 or is it pretty moot?

When I ran 255/40/18 tires I rubbed non stop but when I swapped to 255/35 I didn't run into a single hiccup with the fender meeting the tires. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention the rears are rolled. I don't doubt I can run a 265/35 and see it all the time on here.

star spec 255's are wider than my hankook rs-2 265's

it all depends on the tire.
