My Evo handles like crap

Any updates, did the rebuild cure anything?
Interested to know as high speed slaloms aren't nice in my ride atm - with my used front bilsteins of unknown mileage, new rear oem bilsteins, gt worx springs and whiteline rsb.

I'll be very interested in a ride report myself. Also curious if the Bilstein rebuild cost any more than the standard $65-75 each. Wondering if many people's end up having other issues that cost more money. Debating used+rebuild or brand new HDs.

Don't mean to hijack (again) but seems better than making another thread.
While switching to winter wheels/tires I noticed my front right Bilstein looks like this. Definitely leaking a bit.
1. Do I have to replace it or could Bilstein do something about it if I sent it to them?
2. If I do send it to Bilstein to be repaired/revalved/whatever, should I send all 4 at once? They have over 60,000 miles on them.
3. Do you guys think I should be okay on it until spring? I would hate to throw on new struts only to see them take a beating over the winter.

IMO, if you have a spare set of KYB's or something laying around, might as well send in your set of Bilsteins, especially if you're looking to revalve to aftermarket springs.
EDIT: Forgot to mention shipping which brings the price up a bit. I was charged ~$380 after it was all said and done.

Bilstein repairs struts for $75 each and $65 for shocks, so you're looking at roughly $280 total if you decide to send in all 4. They also revalve to whatever specifications you want for free

I put on fresh-rebuilt Bilsteins, new Swift Spec Rs. I replaced the wheel bearings (whomp whomp whomp noise), and put new top hats on the front for the clunking.
In short, the car is now amazing. It has a supple ride on the highway, but handles ridiculously well. It's quiet as my 0-mile BMW was after the hubs and strut mounts. It's way above and beyond my wildest expectations. I'm sure it would've been great on my Robispec springs also, but the dampers, hubs and top hats I would think made the biggest difference.
So, I'm sorry about the late update and about the lack of a suspenseful story, but yeah, it's fixed. 100%. With my spare set of Bilsteins I could get them rebuilt/rotate-between-two-sets and could street-drive the setup for the next 25 years at this level of NVH and performance and never ask for more.. Truly, TRULY impressive, and every bit as good as advertised. Thanks to all who helped along the way.

Mine was the standard price each. Do not recall shipping costs but I'll see if I can dig them up. Best money I've ever spent on any car I've ever owned. It was that big of a difference for me.
