Z1 Star Spec Vs. RS-R
Hi,
I absolutely dislike my current Goodyear Eagle F1's in 275 / 35 / 18" as they do rub on chassis in front (would like to avoid spacers, outside clearance is not an issue as I run custom wide body setup) and tires are crap in general... I'm deciding between:
Dunlop Z1 Star Spec in 245 / 40 / 18" ($950 for a set of four)
and
Federal RS-R in 265 / 35 /18" ($850 for a set of four).
Rims are NISMO LMGT4 18 x 9.5" +30 offset (just in case).
Are Dunlop's oversized? How are they compared to NITTO NT01s?
Thanks!
Anton
P.S. Only these two options and in that exact sizes please. It would take me another 4-6 weeks to get something else from U.S. and I don't want to lose this summer

245s are all different. Are Z1s oversized or not?
Extra height is fine, I did run 245 40 18 NT01's for years and my car is not stock (arches are custom).

So, you run a widebody, but are going to run 245 tires with not very aggressive wheels?
I don't get it.
Go with the federals if you need new tires. If it was me I'd just make the 275's fit.
