haven't weight the 17" version, but 18x8.5 weight at 18 lbs.

so 17x9.0 should be lighter.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on some Weds. Can anyone confirm that the WedsSport TC105N - 17X9.0 / 5x114.3 / +35 fit without the need for spacers? I will be running 255/40/17 tires. Thanks in advance // Jeff

This guy is running the +25 and did not need spacers. Just a roll and pull of the fenders front and rear. Just FYI. doesn't exactly answer your question but you could go with +25

Are these confirmed size/offeset for Evo VIII?
And, without spacers?
If so, which colors do you have, shipped to MD?

thanks!

+30 to +35 is perfect for that size wheel.

Just to help this thread along. I picked up a set of A tech final speed eraser wheels. They are a 17x9 +27et and clear the brembos with room to spare. I will be running a 245/40/17 on them and won't need to roll the fenders and add any spacers.

They weigh in right at 16lbs each and are made in Japan. Unfortunately they are no longer made, but I was able to find these guys on Nissan forum, lots of 17's over there with 5x114. I paid $700 for them well used, but straight.

Could you give some more detail on the fitment? Fender rolling, alignment, etc? I love those wheels!

I've ordered TC105N 17*9 +25/+35 setup for my EvoIX - should be direct fit with 255/40/17 R-S3 and +25 offset in front and +35 offset rear. This is based on my observation of plenty of space in front with RPF1 17*8.5 +30 and 255/40/17 R-S3 and very minor rubbing in the rear with that rims/tires (so +35 offset in the rear should make up for that minor rubbing). The car is on GTWORX springs with typical camber of ~-1.7fr/-1.5r, no rolling or any other body work.

PS that photoshoooooot isn't mine - I've just posted the link

^The problem with running the staggered setup is you can't rotate wheels for tire wear.

that only becomes an issue if you plan on driving the car
