As far as pads, i'm thinking red-stuff, ppl tend to review them as a step above the stock ones with little to no dust/noise, if anyone has a set of pads they think are better for the price I'm still open to pursuing more research, I AM still checking out the stoptech street pads, the only negative i've seen on them is that they are too "grippy" but that sounds more like a driver issue than a pad issue...plz keep hitting me with reviews or opinions on this, I'm currently having my wheels sandblasted and powdercoated so i have a few days before I have to make a decision on rotors/pads.
honestly, if you are going street route. then i would go with centric rotors and giro-disk magic brake pads. the best cheapest route i have heard of that get's good results. i love this combo. little to no brake dust, great initial bite. virtually no bed in and rotors are rotors for the street.

Well the only good thing about not going slotted is that you can resurface the rotor. Unless you have a shop that can do it for ya.
