Can a Stock EVO run R compound tires?

Can a stock evo run r-compound tires, and what allignment set up (toe, camber, caster) is good for track use on the evo.

Yes, you can run R compound tires, but
I would really start tracking the car on street tires until you have about 10 or more track school days under your belt.

I would recommend a more aggressive alignment for the track.

If you do run R's on a track I'd recommend changing the brake pads.

Stock pads are good for the most part.

Most R compound tires are meant to be shaved. However, Ive read about so local auto xers running the Proxe RA1. I think Shiv runs em too. They look like some good rubber. I may pick a set up for the summer time.

For an alignment, get -2 camber up front and -1 to -2 camber in rear. Tire wear wont be bad at all, and grip under hard cornering will be excellent.

Probably so if you're autoxing. But I really think if you're tracking the car the combo of stock pads and some R compounds will melt those stock pads.

Or maybe get a second set of rims with cheap street tires for the track, I was melting street tires after my second day of open-track...
