Mickey thompsons all the way! I DD mine on my camaro. I made around 20 track passes (Big burnout in the water box everytime) and still got around 12k miles out of them.

Considering your vehicle its not going to really matter too much what tire your running unless its a crappy all season. Weight reduction will be your biggest help. Lighter wheels and tires.

So basically you're telling me I need to go to the gym lol. I weigh about 240

i wouldn't worry about traction at all. no need for slicks at that power level, especially in an SST car, because its going to throw you in limp mode if you hook to hard. with enough weight reduction and a solid drive, you could run an 11s 1/4 even with crappy all season tires. the RPF1's could be worth a bit for the weight reduction.

i would just take it out there and see how it does before throwing money at tires.

You will definitely gain more performance from your vehicle if you cut seriously for a month or three rather than trying to nickel and dime little things out of your car for the car to lose weight unless you go ***** out and gut everything, delete unused wires, ac, heat, etc.
