I just went and ordered the Robi Spec trailing arm. It is a chromemoly powder coated Robi spec orange, with solid sealed forward bushings. More tire clearance, less arm deflection and stronger arm than OEM. A win-win all the way around. Also I am seriously impressed with their customer service, and they are not afraid to give out advice for track setups. A top shop all the way around! Really looking forward to getting this item.

R/TErnie, what is the camber on your rear wheels? They look like they might rub on the fender around a tight corner unless they are completely rolled flat.
When you mention the OEM spring perch being a possible problem, are you talking about the bottom perch or the top mount? The Bilstein PSS9s that are going into my car are going to use the OEM top mount.
This is so tempting... but have other stuff to do. I could sell my Volks CE28Ns 18x9.5 and get those CCWs at 18x10.5 +46 without having to drop a bunch more cash.

On stock bilsteins and swift spec R's I had about 2 degrees of camber up front. I zeroed out all the toe and my car ate through the inside edge of both front tires in about 500 miles of street driving. Wondering how to have negative camber without eating tires up so quick. Same thing happened to my Re01R at the track. Inside edge eaten totally away with two track days and about 500 miles.
That's crazy wear. I run 4 degrees of negative camber and 1/4" toe out up front and don't even wear that much.
I'm really interested to hear more about these rear trailing arms though. Are these just a limited run, or is he planning to mass produce them in the future?

Hmmm random question....how are you running that sort of camber up front without eating up the inside edge of the tire? I realize these are photos of the rear so sorry for the off topic.

Nollij,
The lower spring perch is what I'm referrnig to. The "top hat" is what the upper piece is called. The rear has an 8" long spring and there is still more room inboard.
Camber in the rear is about -1.9 degrees.
Requires that you shave the rearward bolt and roll the rears... same thing that all these kids had to do to fit their flush wheel setups. Except these will fit easier than their 18x9.5 +22 volks. or their 18x9.5 +15's!
To give you an idea... these wheels will fit outboard similar to an 18x9.5 +26
Yeah I'll take some pictures of the front suspension tonight with some measurements and pictures of what to watch out for.
MEAN4G63 - badass! you're going to love them. Be sure and take some snazzy pictures before you install them.

Not to go off topic, but...
