Springs or Suspension??? What to do???

Looking for some GOOD advice on this.

I REALLY want the Tien Flex system with EDFC, but as most would probably say...I don't have the cash. The EVO suspension is great don't get me wrong, but I want just a little better AND I want to go 1.5" - 2" lower. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on this....

Get Tien S-Tech Springs with Factory Suspension...

Or...

Hold out for a long time to get the Flex System with EDFC.

What's the benifit of both and the cons of both

Thanks
D

dude...i havehad soooo many suspension systems on my cars i have had in the past....everything from s2000s to 300zxtt to wrx with tien ha's then jic flta2s....i was being cheap and wanted to lower my evo (couldn't handle the ride height) for the winter then get jic's for summer....but i am soooo supprised how perfectly setup the teins s-tech springs are....very nice ride....perfect drop and perfect match to factory already beefy inverted strut (front) suspension. NOt to mention they are like $165 shipped at many places...

How would you compare your flta2's to just the standard evo suspension?

How do you use your car?

Do you do lots of track days?

Do you do a lot of commuting?

What are the quality of the roads where you live and work?

Realistically, what is your budget for spending on the car?

If you can answer some of these, I can suggest what you should do.

K....

Unfortunately Daily Driver now...but I am trying (my @$$ off) to get a good winter car I can use for a daily from now on including the summer and leave the EVO for a weekend ride.

Right now yes....when I get another car...no

Roads are pretty good, only a couple I avoid when I can because of how bad they are....but when I must travel them....it's REALLY rare. I do a lot of highway driving right now...Girlfriend lives in Lisle, and I'm up near Gurnee...about an hour from each other.

Budget...LOL...what's that??? Honestly if I had the cash I would do the Tien because I have felt them on other cars before...but not the system I am interested in. Unfortunately I don't have the cash right now, but I can wait for the suspension till summer.

In that case, I recommend springs for now, but at some point you should consider stepping up to coilovers.
