I love the rs3 i have 20k miles and 3 track days (button willow and streets of willow) on them and still look great. Just get a good alinement when you buy these and make sure it is tire friendly. If your alinement is really aggressive it will wear out tires fast. If you are in the Los Angeles area i have a great place for you to buy the rs3 or v12 for that matter. pm me if your interested in the name of this place.

It really depends on what is most important to you. Cost? Grip? Wear? quietness? I happen to think tires are the absolute most important piece of the suspension and I am willing to pay a little extra for great grip and quietness. I have owned Kumho Ecsta MXs, Dunlop Star Specs, Michelin Pilot Sports and Bridgestone RE-11s. By far the best Extreme Performance Summer street tire IMO is the RE-11s. They are a little expensive, but considering grip, turn-in, wear and noise, they are a big #1 in my book. Of all the ones I have tried, they are by FAR the quietest in my experience.

Have had re-01'S, which were great but wore down quickly.

DZ101's which were ****. Low grip, noise, tramlining, you name it.

Toyo T1-R which is an excellent DD tyre.

For the last year I have the V12Evos. A GREAT tyre. Very even wear, decent Autox times, quiet, and great for daily driving. The turn in and ultimate grip is a little more vague than the RE-01's, but they are a lot better than DZ 101's and are very good for spirited street driving.

I'm running Copper zeon RS3-S as a daily in summer. Awesome tire for under $600 for stock evo size. Uhp summer tire with 20k treadwear warranty.

I just bought some michelin PS2s. They seem to be a very good dd tire. Great ride and very good handling. You may also want to look at the Michelin pilot super sports. They have great reviews.

I keep it the same for DD, maybe let out 4 psi on each tire though. I learned that 40 psi on the V12's on bumpy roads is no fun lol

Used up two sets of V12. They wear really well even on a semi aggressive setup.

First set: 15k miles on them (lots of autoX). F 2.0 R 1.0 Zero Toe

Second set (still on the car but finished): I have 20k on them (few autoX). F 2.5 R 1.6 Zero Toe.

Most of this is daily driven with mix of highway and around town.

Sumitomo HTR Z III are what I'm going to get next, though.

Seem to be a little cheaper for a better dry performance. SoCal only sees a few days of rain a year.
