Smike, thank you for the reinforcement. I ordered a set of EBC Reds today.
It was between the Reds and StopTech Street pads.

JT, I'll let you know after I have the Reds installed and bedded.

While installing new pads, I noticed the back sides of my Brembo X-drilled discs looked like hell, pads still looked great which had me confused as to why the disc looked so bad.
So... I slapped it back together and order new discs as well.

I purchased a set of Centric premium blanks (black e-coated) for all four corners.
I installed the blanks with the Red Stuff pads, first. Bedded them, drove for a week.
Then I installed the StopTech Street pads. Bedded them, drove for a week.
Both feel nearly the same to me. IMO, you can't go wrong with either pad. You can do 10, back to back, panic stops from 80-10 mph and still have plenty of braking power to effortlessly lock up the 245s if it weren't for the ABS, which I feel is more than enough for the street.

I now realize that pads are where it's at, unless you're doing some hardcore tracking. Then I can see the disc options, other than blanks.
