Pads - axxis vs. Stoptech vs. Girodisc magic

I need to purchase some brake pads and have narrowed it down to the stoptechs, axxis ults or girodisc magics. I've heard that the stoptechs are re-branded axxis pads. Anyone know if that's true?

I've never taken my car to the track but I'd like to. I know none of these pads are dedicated track pads, but which of them would be best for an occasional track day (I'm talking once a year)?

Magic pads actually have more bite the colder it gets. So, I'd say no to track use.

i just put stoptech pads on my car. it's a great daily driver brake pad, nothing more. they're silent, i have not heard 1 squeal yet, but they don't have that hard initial bite other aggressive pads do. if you plan doing trackdays, i don't think i'd recommend them. but if you want a quiet, smooth and good overall pad sure.
