Falken Torque 5, Any comments?

I thought these rims looked cool, correct offset, 17 and 18 inch and 8 inches wide plus are only $160 each. What do people think. I just can't find a weight on them.

They come in gun metal too, as well as chrome, but I'm not into chrome..... I did a search first and could find anything else on this site about these rims.....

I think those look nice. I am looking for something to mount my Advans on this spring, maybe this is an option. Let me know what you find out.

Since you're asking for comments - they're not my cup of tea. Better in gunmetal though.

Hey guys,
I would like to get those rims in Gun Metal or even better black with the polished lip. But any idea where can I get them from .

By the way are you sure that it will fit with out problems and no need for spacers.. .
1 more thing the 18 dose it only come 8 wide .. I want it wider.. like 8.5 ..

Thanks..

I know they come in 18x8 with a 35mm offset. So I am assuming they would fit without a problem. I was mistaken, the 17's are only 7" wide.

Steve

Check out the Falken website. They have all of the specs except weight......hum..............

Yeah, I feel u on that note. The gunmetals are nicer, but no go overall.

A friend has them on a civic. She was the first person to have them that I've seen... about three or four months ago. If it makes you feel any better, they look better in real life.

In the sport compact car adds they show them mounted on a silver which is fitted with what looks like 4 pot Brembos. Plus with the extra 3 mm of offset that may also help (this being the the 18x8 with the 35 mm offset). Not sure about the 17 inch.

If they do clear the Brembos it looks like these might be the ones for me. Not too bad for an everyday rim and guessing only a pound or two heavier than stock, which I don't really care about for the road. The stock rims will get used for the track and autox'ing.
