Help with wheel offset decision please!!!

I have an evo 8 and I am planning on getting wheels and tires after winter. My plan is to get 17x9's with a 245 tire. My question is what would be a good offset to go with? Also I am sitting on tein s-tech springs. All the info would be appreciated. Thanks

Well I'm on a budget so the wheels I was looking at getting are the drag dr31's. They come in two offsets in the color I want. One offset is 38 and the other is 17. I know the 17 wouldn't work. But I didn't know if the 38 would be ok.

The 38 would completely depend on spoke design for brembo clearance. With 17 youll be fine up front and close to rubbing in the rear depending on camber and tire width.

in a 17x9 rim you typically need a +35mm offset. It really depends on the rim and how it clears the front calipers.

search, this has been discussed many many times.

Check some of the xxr wheels as well, they usually have some pictures of evo 8s or 9s running some of their wheels and they have the specs as well
