How are you liking that new 5.0?

I want to put that motor in a 65 coupe.

I have the 3.7 Run it in SCCA STX class.

Crate motor now! Just $6-9k for motor and extras.

I've been researching this quite a bit myself thanks for the useful advice, I just moved up to NYC.

Lived in NYC area for a bit. Cool to see, not so much to live. And I am a city guy

You have 3 tracks close by though.

I just got a new job I'm moving to Long Island.

You can always get a set of AST's which will give you great ride quality and be track worthy. AST actually bought out moton.

Drummond motor sports coilovers hands down lol very worth the price if your looking into tracking often. But brakes should be your number one priority. Nothing like going into a corner and your pedal touching the floor with out even stoping.

Correct.

http://www.nasane.com/

Between $300 and $500 for a 2 day event. HPDE1 will have on track with full time instructor and classroom sessions. Then you start the ladder up to HPDE4 and then TT.

There is also COM up in NH/MA area.

If you decide to buy coilovers, I'm selling my Tanabe pro 7 with TEAS for a decent price than buying new. Check my signature. The control box adjust the dampening depending on your speed.
