Correlation between PSI and dia is not as significant as wear levels. And PSI per corner changes are the car warms up. You can thank all those morons who cant check their tire pressure for the TPMS and idiot lights.
Evo's center diff does not like big changes. Honestly, you want to play that game and be too cheap to get the proper tires (or at least 4 of the same condition) then go ahead. Not my money when it needs to be repaired. If you read the owners manual it states that you should not travel very far on the spare.
