Swift Sport Spec R's for Evo 9 MR

Ok had a few questions i got the springs in today and 1st thing is noticed is they are black? Did they change the color scheme or a different spring??

Then i looked @ the parts #'s on each set (front and back)

front had 4M00RS-F CT9A
rear had 4M017RS-R CT9A

i know that the 4M017 is for MR evos so the rears are good
but the 4M00RS number matches the ones for non MR evos.

do all evos regardless of shocks (MR & Non MR's) use the same front springs??

Just need to know if they packed them wrong. Thx in advance for any info..

i was told yes.

i recently purchased a set of the same coils & encountered the same issue / concern. luckily, it was mid week & they were able to answer my question.

Yes, they are black.

Yes, only rear is a different spring.

I also just purchased the same springs, had the same questions. Thanks Smike and GL, to the OP were you planning on installing them yourselves? I installed mine and I get a squeaky noise over low speed bumps from the right suspension (I think front, might be back, so many noises at once), you experience this? I didn't apply any grease to the struts/springs/bolts. Thanks.

The swift spec-r's didn't come with different bump stops and I didn't get instructions either. How much of the original bump stop should need to be trimmed off with these springs? Could be were the creaky/squeak is coming from? Also I didn't do steps 23 and 39 checking the alignment of the top and bottoms of the struts, but I made sure the beginning and the end of the springs were seated properly in their indentations.

Cronz - good luck with the 19mm bolts on the bottom of the front struts they were a beeee-otch to get off.

Gotcha. I searched the topic of swift springs and bump stops, looks like you don't have to modify them. Probably should have done that before posting that question.

got them in 2 days ago... easy install, used a rod to keep the holes aligned. so far so good...

drop isn't to low but its noticeable but most importantly cornering feels amazing. loving them so far.
