Hello, thanks for your post, it is very helpful! But I am wondering if anyone had any experiences with a jdl-brakes company? I thought it might be a little bit cheaper getting alcon brakes (you can click on it) from them (shipping from poland)?

I highly recommend JDL, I got all replacement parts for my Alcons from them. Fast shipping, good prices, and everything in stock http://www.jdl-brakes.com/mitsubishi...evo-7-8-9.html

Also interested in replacement pads for Alcon Mono6. Will these Project Mu (F1093) work?

http://www.project-mu.co.jp/en/products/pad_import.html

Pad shape seems to be the same only pad thickness is 18 mm rather then 16 mm.

Anybody?

/QUOTE]

For 3 sets of pads I paid $60 shipping by UPS Air Freight service, not bad ...

Is there any particular reason why you conisder Project Mu pads ?
I think Pagid RS29 pads work excellent with Alcon BBK, and it doesn't matter if you are street or track driver.

Update.

FRP3081 is old shape for this kit, new one is 3134 so if you don't have any - grab newer as they are designed to use mounting pins.

PFC 7793 also works (the question is 18 thickness, should be 16 mm for Alcon). Any idea what to do?

There are more options listed (including Hawk I personally don't like). See:

http://www.alconkits.com/index.php/B...ono6-Pads.html

Hope this would help to somebody
