18x9 rpf1

So I just bought 18x9 35offset rpf1s for my evo 9. But I'm.not.sure if I should use a 245 by 40 or 235. Any suggestions?

on a 9" wheel i would definitely go for at least 245.

I would run a 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 on an evo. However I have seen as high as a 315 stuffed on a 9 before in the domestic world.

That's wat I'm thinking too. Wat size spacer would I need for the front?

i personally owned 18x9 +35 offset, if you dont want to worry about rubbing issues cause i know you're using wheel spacers. go with 235/40

you're going to need a 25mm spacer up front, if you want your rear to match the front i would go 20mm spacer in the rear.

So if I go with 235/40 I wouldn't need a 25 mm spacer. And in those thumbnails is that the 235/40 setup

So with a 255/35 would I need to roll the fenders too? And I heard a lot of bad stuff about spacers failing or wheels coming off so I'm unsure if I really want that big of spacers

you have to run spacers no matter what size tire you want!!! the front rims wont clear the calipers, the 25mm spacer is required up front. you dont need spacers in the rear but i suggest getting 20mm spacers so it compliments the front. as for tire size, yes those pictures i posted are with 235/40....tires any bigger will definitely need a fender roll in the rear with a lot of camber up front. hope this helps you

as for spacers failing, i'm leaving that up to you and your research. i'll just let you know with proper bolt pattern hub centric spacers and proper torque......rims properly torque. you make the decision on that one bro.

Go 235's or expect a fender lip roll needed.

I run the 17x9 +35. 20mm spacer needed up front, nothing needed in the rear. I run a 255/40/17 tire and wouldnt run anything skinnier. I dont think the spoke design on the 18 is any different than the 17 in the same width and offset. A rear spacer is not needed, only if you want. I wouldnt get a 20mm spacer in the rear though, that would be a little ridiculous in the rear.
