New Rotors

Hello guys,

My rotors and pads are about to die and need replacement.
So I was looking rotors same as those previously purchased (DBA 4000) and could not find. As far as I knew they were good.
Since I have not found the same DBA 4000, now found a pack that looks interesting in KNS Brakes:

- Front and Rear DBA 4000 Series Slotted ClubSpec T3 Brake Rotors
- Front and Rear Stoptech Street Performance Brake Pads
  • Anyone have experience or opinion on these rotors and pads?
  • Stoptech <Hawk HPS?
  • Any suggestions on other rotors than the DBA and where I can get?

I would greatly appreciate the help.

Greetings.

KNS, MAP, and a handful of vendors here sell the DBA rotors. Yes, they are good.

Stoptech pads are a great choice. Like their feel much much more than the HPS.

MAP Blank rotors and StopTech pads is another good choice.

Stoptech pads are just as good as HPS just with less brake dust than the Hawks. Let me know if you need a pair and I'll be glad to help you out.

I've always had decent luck with RotorPro rotors. I actually just got my slotted rotors and stoptech pads last weekend and installed them.

They are definitely on the "cheaper side" price wise and I've never had a problem with performance wise. You can't beat their pricing either...I got a hell of a deal for all 4 rotors with the hubs coated black and stop tech pads.

For daily driving use they will be just fine with me.

Thanks for your answers. I light track my cars and don't want get too soon fade. Stoptech are good in light track use?, have they a fast fade?.
In my country all the people use hawk pads, and don't know the stoptech pads.

I will try the stoptech pads

Track prep is expensive. Have a dedicated set of pads for track use.

Where I can get this rotors?.

Maybe the track word is too "competitive use". My track use its pretty light, in my before cars I have Hawk HPS and works fine. As far as I know, the "track pads" are HPS+, and the HPS have street use.

I am still hear options, thanks everyone for your help.

HPS+ are not track pads either.

DTC and HT are their track pads.

Have also had great luck with the Stoptech pads. Centric would work well as a daily driver rotor, if doing some track time the DBA's work really well.
