tires opinion

my fronts and rolled flat rears are rolled flat with a slight pull. wheels are 18x9.5+22 front and 18x9.5+0 rears. ideal alignment setting -3 front -1.5 rear. I want to run 275/35/18 all around, however i searched and havent found anything on people running 275/35 on 9.5 width. I wouldnt mind running 255 or 265 also since i see alot of people has done this, but i perfer to run 275. Also want to know if its safe to run different offsets. I know that running staggered diamater and width is bad but not sure about offset.

fronts dont have a chance, rears dont have a chance. too negative of an offset with both. if anything, swap the 0 offset to the front and the +22 to the rear and run an offset perrin psrs in the front and remold the liners and you will might have a chance at 255/35R18's.

I would buy a fender widening kit so that the front wheels will clear. The forums on here have a handy Tire/Rim calculator. I do agree that the wheels should be switched. A wider track in the front is better. As long as its the same width tire on all four wheels it should be fine.

different offset is ok, different width is ok. its the rolling diameter that is the picky part.

ok i see. what about different sizing on tires? for example 245 fronts and 265 rears? is that fine also or no? yeah im thinking about getting rid of my te37 for something less aggressive. i thought these would fit the evo with wide tires but i guess i was wrong. didnt know it was 0 offset rears when i purchased them

that will work as long as the wheel diameter is the same with the rear and front wheels.

Certainly dont agree w/ that^^^^

Running different offsets front to back has been a proven option but running staggered tires front to rear is a serious differential damaging wrong IMO.

The OP needs to do some research especially after the zero offset question

Keep your offsets 25 or higher & keep all your wheel /tire specs the same

Just my opinion

You can run different width wheels, but tires at different wheels even if the math works out, will always be slightly different in diameter. Also to add to it, why would you run bigger rear tires? The evo needs more front grip if anything.

^^^Dont encourage him. My guess is that over 99% of us would never run different wheel / tire widths.

When it comes to AWD systems, all must be equal

The only thing keeping me from running an 18x11 up front with the 18x10 in the rear is not being able to rotate the tires. For best time the stagger would work great but for max tire life rotating s crucial.
