Brake calipers
My driver side front brake pads seem to be wearing out a little faster than the passenger. Is there something I can do to fix this? Brakes feel fine and does not drag. I can push the car around in neutral. I do have a extra set of pads on hand but I don't think anyone would turn the rotors for me because they are slotted. Is it dumb to just pad slap it? Rotors have about 30k miles on them.

At 30k on those rotors, just dropping in pads is not a good idea. You will not wear your pads symmetrically if you do that, not to mention the pads need to create a mating layer on the surface of the rotor which probably won't happen if the old rotor surface still has residue from the old pads. You can also turn a slotted rotor if there is enough material left. This is the first time I've ever heard of not being able to turn a slotted rotor.

No it's not "dumb" just make sure to give the rotors a good scrub with a a 80 grit sanding disk to remove the old pad material then clean them well with denatured alcohol.
Make sure to lube the proper places before installing the new pads.
