Anyone using Proflex suspension?

just wanted to know who was running Proflex suspension either EVO 2 or EVO3 set up(those are the names of the shocks). I've been intrested in getting some and wanted to know about maintance too. thanks

yeah i know there real expensive, but it should be worth it. How is the rebuilding proccess? Who can rebuild them here on the east coast and at what cost?

I looked into the rebuilding and according to proflex no one in the US is qualified to rebuild them. You would have to send them back to the factory for a rebuild. You can contact proflex, they will respond to your emails in a timely fashion

Proflex makes certainly a very good quality product, however I would consider them an overkill for the needs of the majority of the people here. Together with Ohlins (although Proflex is somewhat cheaper) they are widely used in various rally/road race teams in Europe. IMO the main reason why many "enthusiasts" and weekend racers in Europe use them as well is that the Japanese products (JIC, Tein, Zeal) aren't as widely distributed over there. This has mostly to do with ridicoulously high import duties and value added taxes (VAT) imposed on these things. The products manufactured within EU (Proflex - Holland, Ohlins - Sweden) get a tax break relative to Japanese imports.
