Volk LE28N or CE28N questions

Guys, I have seen a lot of posts about Volk's rims but still I have some questions and I was wondering if you could help me...

First of all, what is the difference between LE28N and CE28N rim? To me both of them look the same.

Second, I'm interested in 17" gold with polished lip, since I want to stick with the oryginal tire size, I was wondering what offset would I need and what is the price for them?

Third, Is there anybody that bought and installed them on the Yellow EVO, if yes could you please post a real time pic so I could have a reference.

Last but not least, I'm puting the pic of the rim that I'm interested in but have no clue which one it is (confused)

Sorry for stealing the pic from one of the forums, hoping charges will not be pressed

The difference in the two wheels is the LE is only made for a year or so and it comes with a polished lip and a GT center cap. All of they specs are the same. The LE's come in two special colors The bronze gold, and Mercury silver (which is hyper black). Personally I think the Merc. silver will look much better on the yellow evo. My 2 cents.

Ummm...it's the CE28's that come in Mercury silver and broze, the LE's come in gunmetal and gold. LE's also have the polished lip.

Where on the rim does it say LE28N. If i'm not mistaken they still do say CE28N unlike the LE37T's that actually say LE37

They are basically the same rim. The only difference is the LE28 comes w/a diamond cut lip and the LE center cap. The ce28n is all one color.

Standard colors for the ce28n are bronze, gold and titanium silver. ( you can get basically any color but you will pay additional)

I think the standard colors for the Le's are gold and gunmetal. (i could be wrong on that though)

The "real" number for the LE28N is CE28N-L, which is what I have for my autocross rims (both the box and the wheel said CE28N-L). Size is 17x8 w/ +33mm offset. Mine are gumetal though. As was mentioned earlier, the only differences I am aware of between the LE and CE are that the LE has a polished lip and comes with a center cap. There are pictures of mine floating around this forum if you look hard enough...

Not really. Mercury silver is very much a silver color in normal day light. The darken up at dusk or night. While they are not in yet, there is a good example of them in last months SCC on 37s on a 350Z.

LE is usually more expensive, not less.
