I run a 255/35/18 on a 18x8.5. . . I have a Eibach ProKit which lowers the car 1.0" all around and have very little rubbing issues. Under hard (and I mean HARD cornering) the rears make contact with the plastic wheel liner but not the actual fender.

I was considering the S-Tech springs since they will bring the rear UP a tad, and drop the front another .05" or so (for aestetics). . .

I have 255/40/17 toyo TS-1's on stock rims.

I won't say it the tires in question will fit, you can make that choice. Here are the facts

My car JIC coilovers lower to the Max with toyo's (not currently, for ride quaility, but I have had them way down with the Toyo's)

255/40/17 Toyo Specs: Total sidewall to sidewall width 10.4 / overall Dia 25.0

265/35/18 Advan race tires Specs: Total sidewall to sidewall width 10.7 / overall Dia 25.2

I have never had the toyo rub. The calculations show my speedo is off only about 1-2 mph total. I hope this info helps

If it was me and that is the tire you want, I would give it a try.

Works Evo had 265/35/18 with four people in the car without any problem.

I had 245/40's on my 18 X 8.5's and had rubbing issues before I was lowered. It got worse afterward. I now have 235/40's with not rubbing issues at all. My only problem is I have a wider rims so I want a wider tire. I've seen some tire brands that make a 245/35 in a 18" wheel. I might have to try that out next time.

I bet someone is running 265's by now. Anyone have pics, rim size, offset, etc. ? I am running 255/40/17 on the stock wheels with no rubbing issues on stock suspension.

I thought the Vishnu car was running 265's on 18x9.5 Axis Rims with spacers up front. Might have to do some searching, but I believe this is correct.
