Popping noise from DS wheel well???

Popping noise from DS wheel well???
Hey guys, so lately i have been hearing a popping noise from my drivers side wheel well. It seems to only happen when i press on my brakes hardly, or when i either hit a dip in the road or a speed bump. Could this be something wrong with my suspension? Does anybody have the same problem? I have an 05 evo 8, with stock suspension and brakes. Thanks for any responses.

The guys here can sometimes diagnose conditions but may need a bit more info.
Jack up the front & place on jack stands
Push the wheel & tire in & out to check for loose bearings.
Pull the wheels & using a light, check for any loose components
Make sure the strut connections are tight. Shake the strut for any looseness
Check for worn bushings, cracked CV boots etc, etc
