Hello

Sorry cant help w/the spacer question. Not familiar with the XD9's.

Also, Not at all familiar w/the EVO wagon rear wells. If they are similar in size to our 8's & 9's then:
17x9.5 +28 will fit up front no problem (liner rub possible depending on tire & suspension at full lock)

Now, depending on your tire choice, it is likely you will need rear fender work. A modest tire would be the 255/40 in which a roll & slight pull will be needed using stock camber settings

thanks for the info MinusPrevious!

hmmm im not keen to pull the rear, at the most a roll is all i really want to do. what about a slightly stretched 245 tire?

my other option is the xd9 18x9 +30 it fits but has a lot less dish, could be the easy option though!

My understanding is that the wheel wells are exactly the same as the evo 9.

cheers

The 245/40 will be a stretched fitment but certainly is less in circumference & provides more side wall clearance. A roll may be all youll need

The 18x9 +30 just about puts you in the same boat if you run a 35 series. Would look a lot better w/a 245/40/18 but its a tall tire & will require more fender work

It looks like youve done your homework because the offsets you have picked are aggressive but very doable providing you do the modest rear fender work

The more serious issues occur w/guys picking these super poke stance setups & rolling in out of spec camber. They never really fit right
