Anyone have a review of the Toyo Proxes 4
Looking for the best replacement tire for the Advans and this tire appears to be promising. M/S rated with 300 treadwear. They should more than 2x of the advans. They had a pretty good review in the latest superstreet magazine and they are only 109.00 each!
I'm looking for a tire that will not give up too much compared to the Advans, but also be practical for 4 seasons. I do not plan to track my car, so I really don't need anything as sticky as the advans and I know I can't afford to be dishing out close to a 1000 bucks every 15k miles for advans

Road & Track (February 2004) had this to say:
"During racetrack driving impressions two things became quite clear: a) the Proxes 4 has incredible dry-weather performance for an all-season tire and b) it can withstand significant abuse without feathering and chunking. It also gives very good feedback as it starts to give up grip, and is easy to control as you slide the tires around. It felt far more like a summer tire — and a really good one at that — than it did an all-season."
I've driven on Pirelli P7000 Supersports for years because foul weather happens more often than not where I live. I'm seriously considering the Proxes next time, though, because a tread wear rating of 300, a traction rating of AA (the highest rating), and a temperature rating of A (also the highest possible) is hard to beat in a high-grip tire. The price is right, too.

Wow thats a pretty darn good review of the tire. Now I just have to find a buyer for the ADVANS that I was going to put on the car. They have less than 500 miles on them. I paid 700 for them a few months ago so I'd like to break even on them then get some all season tires instead like the Toyo Proxes 4

Tirerack is 848 + 31 shipping = $879.00
I'm selling 600 + actual shipping costs
I know they may be used, but they are in near perfect condition with less than 500 miles on them. Here is the link for pictures and you can see for yourself they are brand new looking and still have all the little rubber knobbies on them.
Anyone here have experience with the TOYO's on their EVO?
