mine wasnt very difficult...grabs air from the front of the bumper and the hoses have a pretty straight run to the calipers.

Did you relocate the ACD pump?

I need to test mine to see how the flow is before I get the car back together, I think the kink in mine around the pump is ****ing with my driver side cooling.

I've seen people have to cut their undertray and route a funky to avoid tire contact.

Been done. An acquaintance of mine who wrenched for Indy ran a watercooled set-up on a souped-up 50's Renault.

That water-cooling idea is nice. I wonder about something like that working just like the intercooler spray setup, just instead spraying into the rotors. The water is a better dissipator of heat than air, correct?

no its routed around. ive seen pretty even temps side to side as i recall.

yeah thats pretty much what i have. im sure theres some pressure drop due to the bends, but its better than nothing. maybe my racing brake pistons make a bigger difference than i though.
