Tire Set - up Help (Work Wheels CR Kai)
Hey folks... New to the site and a new Evo owner as well so please bear with me. I'm pretty sure tons of other members might have posted this kind of thread already but I'm hoping you veteran guys would help a newbie like me out .
Anyway , I just bought an Evo 9 last month ; bone stock and clean. As of now it's getting suspension work done as we speak. I just purchased Work Wheels CR Kai 's this morning and will be here next week. Specs are 18 X 9.5 +38.
Now I'll be the first to be honest that I have very limited and average at best car knowledge on the aftermarket tuner scene and this will be my first serious investment. I'm clueless on what kind of tire set up would be ideal for the wheels I just bought . If it helps, I do not plan on tracking the car. The Evo is mostly a weekend toy and it's in the garage most of the time together with my brother 's FT86' ... Opinions, comments , etc are welcome. I'm planning on buying the tires tomorrow but I just wanna hear input from the community first . Thanks for your time folks

roll the rear fenders, and 265/35r18 or 255/35r18 will fit. May need a spacer up front to clear the strut, depending what coilovers you're running. On the front, 265/35r18 may slightly rub the fender liners at full lock.
