Whistler 18x9.5 Questions

Ok so for the past three days I've been searching & searching trying to find info on my possible setup, and have gained lots of help but need some help. I've got an 06 IX Evo & have the front fender flare mod & spacers currently with the stock wheels, also the rear fenders have been rolled. I'm buying new shoes for the Evo, but wondering if I can run the Whistler Kr-1 18x9.5 wheels (Ccw LM5t reps) with a +35 offset & it be fine for my daily driver. Also best tire size to suite this setup. Not looking for a rubber band tire, but something that's practical. Just want to get some info before I mskd the move & officially buy the wheels/tires. Thanks for all the help!

Well, you picked a very reasonable offset at the +35. Best tire choices would be the 255 or 265/35

A rear roll definitely needed & w/the 265/35 & expect it to be close w/a possible slight rear pull needed on stockish camber

Confirm front caliper fitment as most wheels will need a front spacer

Thanks so much, I've got stance super sport + coilovers so I've got some negative camber going on, just wanted to make sure even with that offset that they won't constantly rub & will work. So a 255/35 or 265/35 tire would work best? I'll def consider both of those, I appreciate the help MinusPrevious.

Due to the front fender mod you will have minimal issues up front. Likely some light liner rub at lock positions

The rear, you will need a rear fender roll at the min. Your tire width choices are limited by the 9.5" width. The acceptable range is 245-275. 255/265 hitting at the mid range would be best

Get that rear camber corrected if you are over approx 1.8 degrees or greater

You may need a 5mm spacer in front to clear the coilover if you go with a 265/35. My 17x9.5 +35 with 265/40r17 needs a 5mm spacer to clear my stance coilovers. I run a 10mm spacer and it fills the front fender nicely.

Yeah I've already got spacers up front & fenders are already rolled in the rear. It's pretty low as of now, just wanna get the most from my setup. An aggressive wheel like that would suite the car nicely. Thanks guys! Any tire recommendations? Don't do any auto-x (well not yet lol) pretty much looking for an all season kinda tire, but one that grips. Anything you guys recommend?

I've neve me used all seasons. Bridgestone Re760, BFG Gforce sport comp 2, and Michelin pilot super sports are all great tires.
