Help please!!!
Hey guys!! Lately I've been having this issue & it's really frustrating. I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution MR. Whenever I go over bumps, the car feels loose despite the fact that it has a brand new ISC N1 coilovers. At first I thought it was the strut & shocks so I replaced it with ISC N1 coilovers design for tracks. It changed slightly but the main issue is still there. The car still feels loose over bumps & it's not handling well as it should for a car that is built for rally. Probably has severely worn sway bar bushings. Wheel bearings and worn tie rods and ball joints? Help please!!!

Fast, slow & regular. Yup, I had someone who knows what they are doing. What I mean by loose is that, the handling is not there. U can definitely feel the front as u go over the bumps despite the fact that the suspension is adjust to where it can absorb the bump. I beleive the coilover is not the issue here. Thanks!!

Very difficult to diagnose these comments on the net. Loose is a suspension term meaning tail out or oversteer if that is what you mean
If thats the case, knowing you have newly installed C/o's, its possible the suspension rake is way off. Likely the frame rails are too high in the rear
One of our epic threads that died too quickly discusses rake

I would probably check bushings and other endlinks and whatnot first. If your car has a decent amount of mileage on them, they probably need replacing. Those are wear items that should be changed out sooner or later.

I think i had the same issue your saying when ever i would hit a bump the front would take it but it would feel like the rear of the car was off or something like it would want to slide out or felt off balance is this the problem you are describing?

It sounds like you replaced your stock struts with coilovers, thinking that this would fix your original issue. Not a smart move. Put the factory suspension back into the vehicle, and then diagnose your problem from there.
