finally got the call ive been waiting weeks for from D2 philippines and i went to pick up my early xmas box today and i couldnt be more excited !!!!
so first impressions the box and packaging are well done as far as boxes go definetly gets you ready for what lies inside.
the coils themselves well i gotta say are top notch they look great definetly on par with my last hks hypermax coilovers when it comes to the looks department. the top hats purple color has a nice shiny metallic finish to it. the pillowball themselves are of a hardened rubber material to reduce noise and save some comfort over the usual metal to metal pillowballs. there are no noticeable blemishes on the black paint on the springs and the shock body. the welds around the shock base are very well done and the threadings around the shocks are nice and smooth everything spins smoothly no catching or rough threading when adjusting the length and the locks spin smoothly along their thread.
the shock boot/cover doubles as a bumpstop as its all one piece of rubber and its thick rubber that feels like its gonna take quite a beating till it starts to rip
its comes with the usual lock wrenches and adjustement knobs with d2 logo pressed in plus the brake line brackets and rustproofing gunk for the pillowball. it also comes with a nice little booklet with the d2 company history and profile plus their current product range a nice little read on the toilet.
overall extremely satisfied with the coils so far from this initial unboxing hopefully i can get them installed later this week and give the forum a nice ride review on em in the next couple weeks as im set to take the evo on a nice road trip to the mountains at the end of the month so i can give a full detailed review

Have a mate who runs the same coil overs,and review was great.
mainly used for street and couldn't fault them.
Unsure on spring rate he has.
