Does anyone still use Motorcycle slicks?

Haven't seen any recent posts about motorcycle slicks on 17's. I have a set of oem evo 8 enkeis I want to use but not sure what tire to run. Trying not to spend $1000+ on tires here.

Mickey Thompson Tires has been offering Part # 3221, 26.0/7.0-17 (25.7/7.4-17) ET Drag Motorcycle Tire for years. Mickey Thompson Tires produced this tire to be used solely on wheels with an "MT Contour" bead-seat (i.e. Motorcycle Wheel). The common Automotive Wheel uses a "J (ISO) Contour" bead-seat which has a different profile from the "MT Contour"; therefore it is unsafe to mount or use the 3221, 26.0/7.0-17 ET Drag Motorcycle Tire on a Automotive, J (ISO) Contour style wheel.

Mickey Thompson now offers the P245/45R17 ET Street R (90000024648 / 3570) for use on 7.5" to 9.0" wide Automotive Wheels.
