Hi AK

225 width tire is the narrowest tire recommended for the 8.5 wide wheel. Way too small for the EVO IMO.

As far as pressures go, stay w/the recommended settings for street (i.e. 32 psi)

Track pressures depend on what type of track youre running. If the track is high speed, above 120 mph w/aggressive brake zones, starting cold pressures at 30 psi might be a good place to start. That skinny 225 tire will certainly get warm if pushed hard, especially on stock alignment

first of all these are semi-slick street legal racing tires and they come wider than "normal" 225

second steering is sharper with narrow ones

i'll play with a pressure and if i won't get feeling i want i may go for 235 /40 or 245/40 ones
