Front right tyre sticking out

I have tried the search function but none were actually matched to the issue.

My front right tyre is sticking out more than my left front tyre which is nicely tucked inside the fender.

I tried wheel alignmen, checked the rotors, etc but the problem is still there. Now some friends suggested me to have the subframe pulled. Is that advicable?

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Some history on the EvO might help. Was this EvO involved in a front end collision at some point?

You noted the alignment was checked & is OK. If the camber was way off on one side, it could appear that one tire is protruding more than the other

^This!

We need moarrr info here...whats the deal with the alignment? You said it was checked; what does that even mean? Is the car on factory suspension? If you have your eccentric bolt pointing inward on one side and outward on the other side it'll cause a slight difference in track. Im having a brain fart right now (it's Monday morning give me a break!) but IIRC say that side is pointing inward...that gives more strut clearance but itll push the wheel outward more. I may have mixed this up but the point remains.

Say the bolts dont match side to side but you also have camber plates. You'd be able to have matching static camber however side to side its not matching as it should.

Another possibility is tolerance stack. Look around under the hood and see slotted holes in sheet metal. The assembly plant doesn't want a clearance problem stopping the line. I had a DSM where I couldn't install the transmission without sawing a chunk off the corner of the case. No one else had this problem, it was just the way this car was assembled.

I have the same problem as the OP. My left side (Driver) sticks out 5-8mm past the fender when the right side is flush with the fender.

Any known accidents or curbing events? When was the last alignment?

Once again what does aligned to spec even mean? Taking the car to a frame shop right now is a waste of your time and money.

Pull off both front wheels and take note of which direction the arrow is pointed on the camber bolts and report back. You just mentioned the car has camber plates. As I said above your car could have matching camber but done by means that'll affect your suspension geometry and how far out the wheel would stick.

Not since I've owned it (Jan'11), but I believe there is something in the history that went unreported. My STM front crash beam didn't mate up without modifications to the mounting points. Didn't think anything of it until I switched to RPF1s (+38) with 20mm front spacers.

Last alignment was in March of this year. I'll going to take a look at the eccentric bolts next week.

If you bought the car from a dealer that didn't report frame damage, you may be able to sue them. I'm not sure what the time limit is on that, but it may be something to look into.

Private party here on Evom. Doesn't bother me, and there's no way to know as the 4th owner when if ever the car hit something.

this is is a very easy fix. Had the same issue. Your front camber bolt which you removed, and reinstalled when you were installing your suspension, is flipped the other way. The camber bolt is the top bolt on the shock, it has a crescent shape on the neck of it.

Solution: remove top bolt, turn it 180 degrees, reinstall. Do this on only one side as if you do on both you will continue to have the issue.

Both my camber bolts were already in the correct position. I took my front and rear suspension apart last month, and changed over to a set of Ohlins. Turns out the previous coil over had a slight bend from some impact somewhere along the line. Balance has been restored.
