I hope you guys like them. I waited a LONG time for them, but it was well worth the wait. Thanks to Adam @ Z1 for going through the trouble of special-ordering them (they were very expensive) and then putting up with my subsequent "Are they here yet" questions every other day. Thanks to Brian, Mike and Mike at Ultimate Performance in Dulles for continuing to do great work on my car.
Next step is the Endless upgrade and then the Monster Sport bumper (hopefully all will be completed by May 1st, my target date). I'll post TONS of pics at that point (probably in the gallery). Thanks for the positive feedback. I just wanted to do something different...

Chris... call me when you want pics (say, of the bumper)... I'll bring my camera and laptop and burn you a cd of the pics on the spot. Then all these fine people won't have to wait to share in the glory that is your Evo! Awesome wheels.
Still hope for the EPL (except Henry's hurt)!!!

Initial impressions of the Toyo T1-S:
- Very quiet, even compared to my winter tires
- Grip seems very high, but I won't know how high until I do an auto-X with them
- Turn-in is very precise, but that could be as much down to the 18s as to the tires themselves (don't get me started on the 17" vs. 18" debate)
- Overall, seems like a good replacement. I think the treadlife will be pretty high, too. Considering I was on pace to get 25,000 out of my Advans, I think I'll get more than 30,000 miles out of the Toyos.
Another note: I was really concerned that the 18" wheels would make the ride overly harsh, but it is actually a smoother ride now. No explanation for that...

Damn dude...you beat me to them! I've been day dreaming bout them wheels since last summer. I'm guessing you spent about $3200 for just the wheels? I'm sure you're aware of this but there is a BBS distributor in Georgia.

Due to the bolt pattern, offset, etc. these had to come from BBS Japan. I originally wanted the RG-Rs, but there is no fit for the Evo. (Actually, I wanted BBS CHs in plasma finish, but they are very heavy.)
Your guess on the price is very close... and yes, without tires.

I noticed the ride on my Z improved substantially over stock after going to the Work wheels and the T1S - they are a very nice tire for everyday, and I have yet to find its limits.
