BBS RS-GT 18x8.5 in the hizzy...

I FINALLY got my wheels today! (Thanks to Adam at Z1)

I cannot begin to describe how incredible they are. Noticeably lighter than stock, yet so well made I can't explain it in words. I needed a 3mm spacer (no biggie) and I barely clear the front caliper (but there is no scraping). I am running Toyo T1-S tires in 245/40/18. No rubbing issues on the stock suspension.

I know, I know, post pics already... I will as soon as my buddy gets his memory stick reader (probably later tonight or tomorrow). I will post a ton of pics by the end of the month when I get the Monster Sport bumper and my Endless brakes installed. The anticipation is killing me. Here is what the wheels look like:

My car is BBY and the color is more of a metallic gray (kinda like the dark 350Z/G35 color). Here's the Tire Rack pic:

The attention to detail is incredible. The valve caps are polished aluminum with BBS on them. The valve stems are re-usable polished metal. The rim and the hub (2-piece wheels) are both marked "FORGED". The fasteners are titanium with Allen heads. I used Rays Engineering (Volk Racing) Duralumin black lug nuts. Between the lightweight lug nuts and the wheels, I am probably saving about 4 pounds per corner. With the new rotors, I'll probably get close to 12 pounds per corner lighter, all unsprung weight. I hope my buddy sends the pics soon (it sucks not having a digital camera).

A kajillion dollars in mods, and no digital camera? Get your priorities straight!!!

Sweet rims. Lightweight, and not many EVO's have BBS.
