Stock non-Enkei wheels

hey gang.. ever since i got my EVO i noticed i have "different" stock wheels than everyone else.. My stock wheels dont have the Enkei emblems on them and are more Silver than the dart tint wheels that everyone else has.. My car was bought new from the dealer w/ 25 miles, with orignal Advan tires, manufactuered Aug 03, Tarmac black with no sunroof
Everyone seems to like my stock Silver wheels maybe my set of wheels were a manufacturing defect?

anyone have these same stock wheels?

thanks
S.

Maybe they had some scratches on them and they were repainted...does seem strange though.

Those must be the ultra rare ralliart blessed titantium rims only offered to heads of state and other folks with their bloody hands squeezing the throats of the oil producers of the world.. Bow down..

You are so lucky!

Actually that's kinda wierd. Would they wheels have been damaged and sent in for repair in those first 25 miles.. It culd happen. It only takes 6 inches at 35+ mph and wammo.

Have you taken them off to look at the back side and look to see if there is any over spray? Next time you have the tire off the rim, lok at the inside for any signs of repair..

From the picture it appears as if the center caps are painted with the same paint as the wheels. The stock Mitsu center caps are a silver plastic (which doesn't match the stock wheels at all), so if yours are painted over it would lend more to the probability that at least one of your rims was scratched in shipping and they painted them.
