Falken Azenis Sport: size

I'm looking at getting the Falken Azenis sports for my wheel/tires replacement.

They come in two sizes for 17"

225/45ZR17
245/45ZR17

Stock advans are 235.. What should I go with? A few people went with the 245's, which are most likely the best decision.

Thanks

go with the 245s... Better choice. Just make sure your tire pressure is set correctly so you wear evenly, being that the tires are on a 8" width rim and not 8.5"

245's are the better choice. And they give the stock wheels that cool 'fat' look!

245's, I have them on the car now, Very good tire. Better ride. softer side wall. slower turn in, no loss in grip. Does not go away as fast as the Yok's and recovers faster. I have turned fast times with the Falkens.

That is the going price for a replacement wheel. It's almost more cost effective to buy an aftermarket set of wheels, and sell the 3 remaining oems.

Did you check the private classifieds forum on this site? There are single wheels for sale once in a while. Or you can buy a whole used set of wheels and tires for $700....So if you are set on having the OEM wheel, you can at least get a full extra set and useable tires with an addtl $150 out lay over the cost of buying one wheel from the dealer.

SC~

245/45/17

I run the 245/45/17 as well. I got mine for $568 mounted & balanced w/ lifetime balance & flat repair at America's Tires. I like them a lot and they are lasting a long time. I've had them almost 5,000 mile already and they don't look that worn at all. The stockers w/ 5K miles were really showing their age and only lasted to 9,900. These tires have ::edited:: on them & still look great.

hey machron1, can you post a picture of your stock wheels with the 245/45 17 tires on them? I'd like to see how they look and I'm sure many others would like to see as well.

Hey....do any of you guys run these tires on the street? If so, how do they feel compared to the stock advans and do you feel like you would lose any performance in certain areas (rain) to the stock tires. With the advan replacements being so much more then the Azenis, these sound like a really good tire to get but obviously not for poor conditions.

Thanks,
EvoMike
