Will Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35mm offset fit on evo? Does anyone have them on their car? Did you have to do anything special to get them to fit (spacers?)

Any pics of them?

Thanks,

Steve

The 17x9 rpf1 will not clear the front calipers.

it's something in the design of the spokes that prevents the clearance on the calipers. I guess with the extra rim width, you need bigger spokes to compensate

17x8.5 fits as well, and is the recommended size. The 9 won't fit without a spacer

The 9" was designed for a RWD application and they wanted a deeper dish look and moved the spoke in...

But it only has trouble with front wheels?... I would assume all 4 wont fit?
How big of a spacer would it need to clear the brakes?

seems like it should fit in the back because the brakes in the back are smaller... but I haven't tested it... Neal@tirerack would be a good person to check with

back from the dead

anyone know how large of a front spacer is required to run these? I found a great deal on a set and dont mind running spacers if they arent too large and requre stud-extensions

well that depends on if its the fwd or rwd version
I have 17x9.5s et 38mm in the rwd version with a nice 1-2 inch lip
never measured it
the rear fits perfect
the fronts need a 20mm spacer
if its the flat faced version
it should fit fine
my rims are a bit dished i guess
the face sits inwards quite a bit and not flush with the lip
