How much brake fluid to bleed brakes?
I'm looking to replace my stock fluid with some SuperBlue - does anyone know how many liters should I buy to bleed the whole system?

not sure about how many liters you need, but bleed the entire thing then fill the brake fluid container to A LITTLE UNDER the MAX line. if you're above it, your brake pedal will be hard. it will also cause you to roll very slowly when in neutral which also causes you to ride the clutch a bit more while getting into first gear.

i found that a water bottle works the best. poke a hole on the cap, put a clear tube in it. not sure the size. and have some fluid in the bottle. so as u bleed ur brakes.. u can see the dirt comn down.. stop until theres no more dirt... then go the next and repeat..and you can bleed your brakes as much as you want. no problem with that.

don't forget you need to bleed the clutch in addition because it shares the master cylinder!! i bought 3-500ml bottles of motul rbf600 and barely used 1 1/3 bottles...2 bottles are plenty!!

Hmmm. Was thinking about changing my brake fluid, but I had never heard that the clutch was involved as well. Is the bleeding of the clutch a separate procedure? Or is it done automatically at the same time one does the brake bleeding?

Took me 2 1/2 500ml bottles of Brembo LCF600. the old fluid was ATE blue so it was easy to see when the fluid went from blue to clear. You would be surprised to see how long the rear brakes ran blue...only slight blue but still blue.
I say 3 bottles of 500ml is about right
